Peter & Paul

Passing the Baton | Message #4

Two men are chiefly responsible from a human perspective for the fact that we are gathered together today as a local gospel preaching church. Those men are the Apostle Peter and the Apostle Paul. The book of Acts can practically be divided between them. The first half is principally about Peter and the second half almost exclusively about Paul. As you move into the book of Acts Peter is again the predominant disciple. He preached the great sermon on the Day of Pentecost which began the church age. The foundation of Christianity is historical.
