In our journey through life, we often encounter individuals searching for truth and meaning. Like Mark, who sought truth through various means, many are on a quest for something deeper. It is through divine appointments that we have the opportunity to share the ultimate truth found in Jesus Christ. As Christians, we bear the responsibility to be the light in a world filled with darkness, guiding others to the truth and hope that only Christ can provide. This calling is not just about words but about living a life that reflects the love and truth of Jesus. [06:59]
John 1:6-9 (ESV): “There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.”

Day 2: Finding True Joy Beyond Material Wealth

This stands in stark contrast to the often joyless pursuit of material wealth seen in more affluent societies. True joy and peace are not found in possessions but in a relationship with Christ. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 (ESV): “But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.”

John the Baptist serves as a powerful example of someone who pointed others to the truth. He was the first witness to the light, preparing the way for Jesus. Our lives should reflect the light of Christ, drawing others to Him through our actions and our words. This is a call to live authentically, letting our actions speak as loudly as our words. [21:59]
Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV): “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
