You never get a second chance to make a first impression. At GBC, the Hospitality Team is our front-line ministry—the first interaction visitors and members have with our church family. By serving in one of these vital roles, you are not just greeting people; you are setting the entire tone for worship and helping people feel seen, valued, and at home. Your genuine welcome is often the first step in a person’s journey to faith and connection at GBC!
Find Your Fit
If you have a friendly smile, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to serve in a simple commitment, high-impact role, the Hospitality Team is for you! We break our team into four essential areas:
- Greeters: The vital initial handshake! You welcome everyone entering the building, hand out bulletins, and set the stage for a positive worship experience.
- Welcome Center Hosts: The information hub! You answer questions, help first-time visitors check in their kids, provide directions, and talk about ministries and events across the church.
- Ushers: The helpful guides! You manage seating in the sanctuary and handle any necessary coordination during the service.
- Kafé Attendants: The refreshment crew! You manage the Kafé counter, serve up a nice, hot cup of coffee or refreshment, and create a casual space for pre-service fellowship.
