Our Mission
Our Mission here at GBC is simple.
We exist to glorify God in all that we are and all that we do. We follow Jesus in all of life and lead others to do the same.
This means that everything in us desires to want to worship God and know Who He is and what He has done for us in Jesus. The news of the gospel is so good that we then want to take it to those in our community and around the world.
What We Believe
We appreciate that you are digging in to see what we believe here at GBC. First and foremost, we believe in one, holy God made up of three co-equal persons. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God given to man so that we would grow closer to Him. We believe in the full deity of Jesus Christ as the only Son of the Father. That Jesus lived a perfect life, was crucified, died, and was buried. We believe that the punishment for the sin of man was poured out on Christ as a substitute atonement. We believe that Christ rose on the third day, defeating sin and securing salvation for all those who will repent and follow Him. We believe that the Holy Spirit calls people to repent of their sin and turn to Christ. We believe that when a person confesses Christ as Lord, the Holy Spirit permanently dwells in them and secures them in salvation. We believe that baptism comes after conversion as an outward expression of faith through immersion in water. We believe in caring for followers of Jesus through membership.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
